Get your tackle boxes ready - our favorite summer-long tradition is officially on! The Lake Cavanaugh Fun Fest Fishing Derby kicks off on Memorial Day, May 26th, 2025, and runs all the way through 2:00 PM on Labor Day, September 1st, 2025. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just tossing a line in for fun, this is your chance to hook some memories and reel in a cash prize!

How It Works:

The top three fish submitted by weight will take home cash prizes and eternal lake bragging rights. Only fish weighed in person with a witness from the Lake Cavanaugh Improvement Association (LCIA) will be eligible to win.
